Who do i most resemble??

When I was a new born.... most of them said I looked like Mummy. Oh and also some commented I looked exactly like Janelle Jie Jie when she's a baby too (my dear cousin)! Over the year, i heard comments that i do looked more like daddy, especially the dimples and eyebrows haha...

Now that I'm 1 year old... who do u think I most resemble?? Is it Daddy or Mummy??

Back to Base

Is time to fly back to CCU... can't wait to see daddy too! Tonite, as usual I'm taking a nite flight with mummy...

Look at my contented smile after so many parties that I had attended. Since I have been promoted to become a toddler, I guessed I should be sitting on my own now without Mummy helping me, hehe...! But daddy said I will get my own seat only when I'm 2 years old... which means another 11 more months to go... counting down =)

Mummy brought me to DownTown East today... it was so fun! I saw a huge playground but I'm too young to join in, maybe next time when i'm older... Janelle Jie Jie and Wendeline Jie Jie, please wait for me =)

Mummy's Favourite Dress

Mummy bought this denim dress for me during the Poney's Sales in Genting last year. It was up to 70% off and was one of those pretty dresses that caught her attn... But, so sad cos this was my first time wearing it and it fit me just nice, Oops! no more allowance for me to grow, oh no... Mummy picked up size 18th to 24th months... but didn't expect me to grow that fast. Maybe trimming off the short sleeves will help a little hehe.... hoping it could fit me for another 2 more months at least! Luv, Rachel...

May Babies Birthday Bash

Yeah! I'm so glad that "May Babies Birthday Bash" was a real Success after so many months of planning (",) It was held at Gymboree, HarbourFront. All the Mummies, Daddies and their lovely Babies enjoyed the whole event that evening. Such a nice feeling to be able to meet up with the rest of the mummies and babies in the May forum.

It was also the biggest gathering with around 30 babies playing in a big group... celebrating their birthday together in the month of May! Haha... tried very hard to remember their names though, instead of their nicknames normally used in forum. Luckily, Choc came out with an ideal of printing names on labels... so that it is easier to identify each other. Special thanks to Diana for booking the venue, Choc for printing labels, Doris for organising refreshments and the FC role, Jo for ordering the cupcakes and Von for organising the Baby awards!

Lastly, would like to congratz those babies who won the awards!

My Visit to the new mall... "Tampines One"

These pixs are taken in one of the few outings during the last trip back to Sg. We went to a new mall called "Tampines One". As usual, Little Rachel was enjoying herself so much even in the nursing room =)
It is a wise choice to go there cos' i found my favourite store "UniQlo"... finally there's a store in Sg. They are so popular in Japan, really luv their casual wear and cotton soft top! Beside that, there are quite a number of Japanese store as well. The bread and cupcakes from a Japanese Bakery Store is so yummy! Rachel ate almost the whole cupcake by herself. Definitely will visit again the next trip back in Sg. Hopefully, all the stores will be occupied by then (",)

An Eventful Month ~ *May 2009*

I must say that this Month (May 2009) is not only an eventful month, but also exciting and memorable one as well. We had attended many parties and had enjoyed ourselves so much at everyone of them (",)

The fun part is that each Party had their own different themes and unique pretty cakes to tag along. And not forgetting my favourite session... witnessing each baby turning one while Birthday Songs are being sung! Looking at their expressions really make us laugh haha...!

Overall, the Birthday Party was a successful event. Our guests are pretty happy with the food and ambience, especially the birthday cake :> Most of them like the decor that i put up since 5am that very morning, hehe... I know it sounds crazy but i will do anything to make it perfect for my darling princess!

New Milestone ... Another Headache *_*

Today, Rachel surprised me with her little achievement... she finally had the guts of getting off the bed by herself! She has been trying for a while but never once she was willing to do it on her own.... except when mummy and daddy sat at the bed edge, then she will clinched onto us and extended her legs out for landing keke! She is indeed a measured risk taker (",)

Then the surprise came when she noticed i'm out of reached and she desperately need to get her toys that she dropped... she had decided to clinch onto the bedsheet instead haha... and Yeah!! She made it... good job! But soon I realised it leads to another problem, we no longer can keep her on the bed anymore :<>

It has hit 39 degree celsius already so far .... !!!

And i heard from some local it can reached 41 degree celsius *fainting*

She was hoping I can start walking by myself soon , juz like them too =) so that our next gathering, all of us will be walking side by side holding hands *O*

It was a Sunday and a Sunny day... Mummy and Daddy woke up pretty early to tidy up the house cos' we r expecting our guests for lunch! Mummy cooked Curry Chicken, Chilli Prawn and Fry Veg, and i had my usual porridge for lunch too ;-)

Oh, I have my own guest as well... hehe! It's Ryan Kor Kor... look, he enjoyed himself so much in my little playhouse ^_^ playing the toys with me! I wish he can visit me more often so i can have a cool play mate again...

Happy 11 months Princess !!!

So amazing... my little princess is 11 months old today!! And she will be turning one so soon... Still remember last time how she always wanted to be carried and now she changes so much! she don't even need us to do so anymore... ever since she started crawling, she will try to reach for things she wanted. Unfortunately, she loves to type on the keyboard... seems to be her fav toys so far :>

*6 mths old* - "Hmm.... one day i will stand up and reach that toy Mummy and Daddy always played with!"

*11 mths old* - Yeah!!! I made it... those small little buttons r fun keke!

So glad that Rachel is more cheerful as she grows... it is so much fun to play with her now!

Oh... just realised she has a new favourite dvd lately ~ "The Wheels on the Bus". The Nursery Rhymes can really set her bouncing & keep her busy for a while, haha...
